Review of The Day of the Jackal (1973) by Andrew G — 24 Sep 2007
My only hangup with this movie is that the real life event it is based off of had a much more dramatic ending: the assassin (who was pullling the strings in real life instead of firing a weapon himself) was executed by De Gaulle with this rationalization: "I can think of no better martyr for the france and her people than my would be assassin".
