Gripping and moving despite its TV limitations, 'Day Lincoln was Shot' is top of the line period entertainment. Partly due to a tight script, partly due to fairly good production values that recreate Civil War America, and in part because of two solid turns from Morrow and Henriksen as Lincoln and Booth.
