Review of The Cyclops (1957) by Robert K — 26 Feb 2018
This frightened and intrigued me as a kid growing up in Jersey watching it on "Chiller Theater" in the 60s. A common theme that radioactivity could create mutated giants was a common one in 'B' grade sci-fi films of the 50s and this was no exception.
The cyclops creature really was hideous looking, and the desperation of the crew trying to avoid him kept me on the edge of my seat. The ending was exciting. I never realized the constraints that this flick was produced under until recently.
For all these reasons, I'll give it 3 stars.
