Review of The Collection (2012) by Waukesha H — 03 Dec 2012
Ok why a five star rating...1. Because it was purely unadulterated torture fun. For fans of slash and gore, this movie feeds the soul. For the fans who first became aware of our killer in 2009's the collector, this is the aptly built sequel to that movie.
It gives you a brief insight to the past through the eyes of our notoriously liked thief Arkin. The movie does not drag on and on with unfulfilled purpose and inept dialogues, on the contrary, it provides a satisfactory glimpse of true horror with great direction. While shorter than most films now a days, which is actually a breath of fresh air.
This movie gets straight to the point in bringing the story and characters to life in a dynamically horrific and terrifying way. Josh Stewart provides a sense of half loving and half hating his character with a spice of realism and definition. Wonderfully created and masterfully built, through scenery and film.
