The Birth of a Nation is definitely a must see. I love how every emotion was toggled while watching this film. I laughed, I cried, I was angry,hurt, relieved, and ultimately empowered. It is also interesting to see how history really repeats itself and some things are what we are currently experiencing as being black in America today.
I wish people would set aside there personal attachments to Nate Parker as a person and go see how gifted and talented he truly is by supporting this film.
