Very different type of story for a gangster film. Although now days these stories are more common, in the time the movie was shot an genre movie like this must have been very different. It's a decent movie, a little hazy in keeping up the story throughout for the viewers enjoyment, but not a bad watch.
Jean-Paul Belmondo is great in this film, foreshadowing his better films, like "Breathless.".
