I'm surprised the critics didn't like this more, as there were a lot of production values in terms of lighting, color, etc. The story was interesting, although the Sam Eliot character was pretty cliche.

But a few classic lines - like when he asks the waitress "What time do you get off" and she says "About 14 minutes after you start to F@$% me". Also, there is a sex scene that contains the best 90 second summary of the last 100 years of physics.

As a science geek, I really appreciated that.
