Review of The Ballad of Jack and Rose (2005) by Melanie C — 09 Aug 2007
Above all, I would say this movie is intriguing. If you can sift through all the symbolism, and get past Jack and Rose's almost oedipal relationship, you will see a beautifully sad story about coming of age in a very different world than what we're used to.
It takes a good look at the human psyche, love, society, and at human nature in general. A great film for anyone who likes to think.
