Ensemble pieces either fail miserably or are fantastic. This one works really well. The film lampoons the Hollywood lifestyle at the same time that it endears the viewer to each party guest. Alan Cumming and Jennifer Jason Leigh direct and star in this film, and the results are quite impressive.
The real-life chemistry between all these actors comes through brilliantly onscreen as well.
