I am a big Jean-Paul Belmondo fan and would take any of his movies on a desert island. Way before Zemeckis did his Romancing the Stone, Philippe de Broca made this terrific adventure movie. Ok you don't get the usual sexual tension between our french couple, but we're in the sixties and things were a bit different.
In any case, this is what entertainment was all about in the sixties. That must have been a hell of a decade :-).
