Acted extremely well, this is a moving portrayal of a man out of time - if Joe Meeks had been around during prog rock years who knows what might have happened. Over-dependent on drugs, tortured by his own demons and a desperate life, this film is moving and horrifying in equal measure (with moments of high comedy to lighten the load).
Highly recommended.
