Review of Table 19 (2017) by Martin M — 06 Mar 2017
Sure, this movie is filled to the brim with clichà (C)s and sentiment. There are few surprises, plenty of sap, and you're not really engaged with the "antagonists," such as they are. But there is a lot of heart in this picture and it might even elicit a few tears with these believable performances, making it certainly worth the price of a matinee showing.
Many will wanna wait for Netflix or DVD, but with charming performances, especially by Kudrow, Kendrick, and Merchant, you'll be glad you caught this one.
