Review of Symbiopsychotaxiplasm: Take One (1968) by Brandon S — 12 Apr 2008
Pretense alone dictates one love a film with a title like that by default. and happily its metaconceptual nature delivers in droves, not only as a way-ahead-of-its-time study of the affects of the camera on absolutely EVERYONE involved in the process, but the whole experience is then mirrored in the STORY OF THE FILM'S REAL LIFE as an art object, neglected and nearly lost in archives not once but twice! incredibly unique; incredibly special.
soderbergh is a cinema angel.
