Let's get one thing straight; this is NOT a blaxploitation film. This gave birth to the blaxploitation genre when white people realized that they could profit from black audiences by making cheaply-made films with black characters.
Nevertheless, this black-made, black-financed film is the one black independent film to watch - and the one film to make your afro grow and your fist rocket in the air in defiance against the man. TOTALLY AWESOME!
