Fantastic movie about drugdealing teenager Liam in the West of Scotland town Greenock, known for its wonderful scenery and its top rates of drug addicts and drug related problems in the UK. Loach casted locals for a few of the main characters (Martin Compston as Liam is brilliant!).
This particular Glasgow accent is something else - I happened to watch the movie in London once, and they had subtitled it. :-) Ken Loach is a great director!
