Review of Suspiria (1977) by Jaysin H — 31 Dec 2009
If you have to watch one giallo movie, you might as well better make it 'Suspiria.' Dario Argento proves he is a true master of horror with a movie that is both artistic, as well as unsettling.
I was fascinated with the use of vivid colors and how he used the framework for certain scenes. And of course, the great musical score created the kind of creepy atmosphere that made this particular horror movie work.
It's hands down the most significant contribution to Italian giallo horror films.
