Review of Sunlight Jr. (2013) by William B — 15 Nov 2013
Wife and I saw this at home, "pre-theatrical" on Vudu. Thje illogic of the storyline somewhat resembles early instruction in short story writing: put character up a tree, have growling dog bark at tree, make tree fall down.
The actoring is fantastic, especially the actress who plays Watts' overburdened mother, but the characters are entirely clueless, leaving one feeling primarily sympathy for their innate stupidity instead of empathy for their condition as they blow like a tumbleweed through life.
