Review of Submission (2018) by Rick1000 — 06 Jul 2018
What begins as a long-winded exploration of the literary process actually turns into a somewhat compelling story, despite the lead character being dragged through the film with a total lack of personality.
What could or should have led to a more engaging climax, ends with less than a whimper. Movies should make some valid point, this one provides a bland, convenient, unfulfilling ending that will leave you wondering why you spent the time watching it at all.
Plus, as a professional author, I can assure you that publishers never, ever buy novels from newcomers based on a few chapters. At least have credibility even in a bad script.
