Review of Streetwise (1984) by Yasser A — 15 Nov 2010
This is one of the roughest, most heartbreaking movies I have ever seen. The access is amazing: Director Martin Bell is with these kids during so many tough, poetic, beautiful, deadly moments and the frankness of portrayal is almost unbearable.
A cinematic pearl of a movie. A masterpiece.
