Life seems to work in mysterious ways, although I don’t think I would ever imagine a situation where catching feelings for your captor is possible, but it is, and it is a syndrome called Stockholm Syndrome, which was developed after the bank robbery in Stockholm Sweden in 1973.
The movie "Stockholm" portrays the story of the woman who seemed to have fallen under the spell of her captor after being held hostage in the bank for multiple days. It’s a very unusual and thought-provoking story line that I thought the movie did a great job of exemplifying.
Strongly suggest everyone go see this movie.
