Review of Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) by *As The World Falls Down* (Dani) — 30 May 2008
I don't care what people say - this was THE BEST Star Trek film of the ten to date. Everyone complains about overblown episodes, and then when they rise above that criticism, everyone complains that it wasn't enough like Star Trek.
Make up your minds! Stuart Baird did an awesome job directing this, and the trio behind the story outdid themselves. Shinzon is quite possibly the best Star Trek villain (except maybe Khan) of them all.
Picard against himself?! Wow! And the extended battle sequence between the Enterprise and the Scimitar is one of the best action sequences of the franchise. And the death of Data - not terrible - perfect - as Spiner remarked in an interview: the ultimate act of humanity.
..from the android who sought to be human. THE BEST!!
