Review of Stake Land (2010) by Kyle G — 03 Aug 2011

When you read the reviews of this movie most are spot on. An excellent original tale that brings to life a world in shambles. There are no Vamps with a southern accent trying to woo fairies in this tale, but there are mindless killing machines that more resemble zombies than vampires.

The story is well told and it does keep you on the edge of your set. There is a lack of character development but I think thats more due to the representation of the chaotic and constant change the characters must face than to poor writing.

This movie deserves a second look, check it out I don't think you'll be disappointed.
