Review of Spider Lilies (2007) by Kok F — 09 Nov 2009
It won an award in Berlin film festival, so I thought I should give it a try. But truthfully, my major intention is to watch a lesbian movie. In recent years, there have been quite a number of Taiwan made lesbian movies.
About this movie? It's running out of track in many places...in fact, in most places. To put it simple, the major problem is that it's been trying too hard to create a dramatic story, which ended up an unconvincing and hardly touched story.
