Review of Spider Baby (1967) by Sean C — 12 Dec 2007

Innovator of the crazy family genre of horror films. This is a really strange movie from exploitation director Jack Hill, who has made some great exploitation movies, Switchblade Sisters & Foxy Brown to name a few.

This one is my favourite through. It seems over the top, but it actually is also a comedy. It isn't one of those exploitation films that is so bad that it's good. It's a really dark comedy.

Anyone who loves surreal, odd movies should check this movie out. Also anyone who wants to see one of the last films that Lon Chaney Jr. was in or also, an early role from Sid Haig.
