Review of Speak (2004) by Priya B — 12 Mar 2011
An amazing movie and may be the only one with kristen's best performance till date. Many people can relate to this amazing movie, especially to the character Melinda (played by Kristen Stewart). The mood of the film reflects the feelings of the character Melinda. The bullying in the school and many such incidents are real and easily identifiable in everyday life.
The strength of the film is the performance of Kristen Stewart. It shows the struggle of her character's inability and will to speak of the tragic incident she faced. How she finally speaks out is the rest of the story. The film does not hurry or surprise you. It is just simple and touching.
You will be definitely engaged in the film and looking forward for the next scene. It does not follow the routine cliches neither do you find any similarities with other plots. It will certainly move you.
My verdict is you will not be disappointed. Watch out for kristen.
