Stunning movie with a strong storyline. I first watched this a decade ago, and watching again still had the same impact. One of the best ganster movies ever made, so much better than "Boyz In The Hood" or "Menace To Society" which have always been more popular with the demographics.
This was gangster in the most respectable way, a movie of redemption and inspiration, shamefully only a handful of people know about it. The youth today I guess prefer flicks like "Get Rich Or Die Trying" which demeans the lives of African Americans.
