Review of Sorry to Bother You (2018) by Danielle H — 15 Oct 2018
This movie was baffling yet inspiring and thought-provoking, particularly to those who have experienced the pagentry surrounding micro and macro aggressions against POCs that white-led corporations perpetuate.
It was a bold and creative take on that notion - one that runs the risk of ridicule that is currently being faced here. I know that's a lot to understand for those right-winging trolls who scream the monotone note of "REVERSE RACISM," so I'll say it plainly - This movie was made to open your eyes to the plight of black people in the work force.
If it offended you, I suggest rewatching to see the deeper meaning or work on your context clues expertise. :).
