This movie is inspiring, but it lacks the dramatic intensity of other biographical Bollywood sports movies such as Dangal and Mary Kom. Unlike M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Soorma doesn't have any memorable songs.
Diljit Dosanjh and Angad Bedi give good performances. Tapsee Pannu acts well but her role doesn't have much scope.
