Review of Snowden (2016) by Jeanmarie T — 21 Sep 2016
This is Oliver Stone's best work, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's best work, and a terrific film overall. Whether you think Snowden is a hero or a traitor, this film takes on some important issues that everyone should take some time to think about.
The cinematography is beautiful and very effective in highlighting the themes. The viewer feels like a voyeur at times. If this doesn't make you think, you need a new brain.
