Review of Slow West (2015) by Matthew S — 05 May 2015
This captures the essence of the old west. I haven't seen many Westerns in my lifetime, so it was nice watching this. It had all of the good-old tropes of the genre, and it was all well portrayed. It perfectly captured the era.
It was mostly a relaxing time for me to sit back and watch, with an overall slow pace. The characters were sort of shallow, even Fassebender's. He didn't do much to earn the badass personality he was given.
The ending was really fun and exciting. I may consider watching this again.
