Review of Six Shooter (2004) by Paul C — 10 Sep 2010
Sought this out becuse In Bruges was my favourite film of it's year. It was well worth it. At 27 minutes I was disappointed that there wasn't more but this was made up for the darkness (Death seems to be the main theme and what links all the major characters) of the story, the quality of the acting and the strong, irish humour running throughout the story with a denoument which had me just creased up.
It's clear that McDonagh was going to go on and make brilliant films and I will be there for every one from now...shame he seems to take such long gaps between them.
