Review of Six-Gun Gold (1941) by Allan C — 24 Jun 2016
Silly Tim Holt western about Holt visiting his town sheriff brother, but finding an imposter in his place. Lots of fights and shootout and typical goofy western fare. Nothing here really of note except for my fascination with Holt as an actor of great talent ("Magnificent Ambersons" "Treasure of the Sierra Madre") who chose a career path that lead him down the road of the modern day equivalent of doing low budget Jean-Claude Van Damme direct-to-video action pictures when he could easily have instead done more prestige pictures.
