Review of Side Out (1990) by Jeff M — 16 May 2009
I haven't seen this film in 15 years, and it was just not the way I remember it. Too many (yes...too many) music montages and slow-motions of terrible facial expressions, along with bad acting throughout every scene.
The whole reason Howell gets into Volleyball is shallow. I am very glad Necessary Roughness was released following this, as it seems some of the actors were in pre-season form. And Tony Burton, the only sideline you belong on has three ropes in front of it.
