Review of Shooting Clerks (2016) by Hiram O — 13 Aug 2017
I saw this at the Monmouth Film Festival. Shooting Clerks "feels" like the original. Definitely low-budget and "organic", it tells the compelling story of Kevin Smith and his circle of friends, and their unlikely rise to stardom.
My two cents: I was emotionally captivated by young Kevin and his special relationship with his dad. Even though we all know how the story goes...i couldn't help but feel moved by their journey and their success.
It is an easy watch. Loved it.
