Review of Shazam! (2019) by Kjax — 04 Apr 2019
This is one of the better DCEU movies I've watched - with Wonderwoman and Aquaman, DCEU is finally on a roll! And with Avengers Endgame likely drawing the curtain on the 10 year reign of MCU, this comes not a moment too soon (note: I'm HUGE MCU fan, but I also want DCEU to do well, because superheroes).
The movie is funny and heartwarming though slow in some areas (could have been cut shorter), and I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. I'd have liked more action, so I really can't wait for Black Adam (Dwayne Johnson!!) make his entrance.
