Review of Sharpe's Company (1994) by David M — 03 Apr 2014
I've been working my way through the TV adaptations of Cornwell's Sharpe novels, with Sharpe's Company being the third of those adaptations.
This is the one that takes place during the siege of Badajoz, and introduces Sharpe's old nemesis Hakeswill (from his pre-peninsular days), as well as revealing he now has a child. Of necessity taking liberties with the plot of the book, this still manages to remain pretty faithful throughout.
