A rather black comedy and commentary about a swinger hairdresser in the 70s, as well as that lifestyle in general. Having grown up in Southern California, this was a rather fascinating tour of the area over 30 years ago.
And like some have said in various reviews, the '70s humor can be different to sort throughâ??I'm not sure I get it all. Also rather different to watch since the story was set during the '68 elections, exactly 40 years ago and especially close to our elections.
I really never knew Warren Beatty's age until watching this. Not sure if I would watch this again.
