Review of Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero (2018) by Jason G — 02 May 2018
Sgt. Stubby is a well told animated drama, that accurately reflects events of exactly 100 years ago. The real Sgt Stubby received a half page obituary in the NY Times when he passed in the late 1920's.
This film does this wonder dog justice, as well as honoring the sacrifice and brotherhood of the Allied war effort in France. Told with sharp animation and a linear story, this indepedent film is accesiable to children as well as being complex enough for adults.
Well worth your time.
