Let me get this off my chest, this is not the average sports film and the movie sells itself like a sports film in its trailer but its not at all. Everyone that plays the game of golf will love this film for the rest of us we have to pray on Lucas Black's performance and thank god he did it right.
It's powerful yet completely unmotivational. Don't walk into the movie looking for the Friday Night Lights of golf. Instead go into it ready to watch a mellow drama about self discovery and golf and you will be satisfied.
