Review of Session 9 (2001) by Daniel B — 10 Oct 2009
Man I was surprised to see the rating so low for this. It's october so we're watching scary movies, and it's hard to find GOOD scary movies we haven't already seen. This was a good one. I like suspenseful psychological thrillers and it's so hard to find the ones that aren't stupid or obvious.
Session 9 really sets up an atmosphere with the abandoned mental asylum and the story of Mary and you're expecting the ghosts to pop out at any time, and then it starts to reveal the real "monster" halfway through and you realize how it all makes sense. Then you enjoy watching it unfold.
