Review of Scrubbers (1982) by Tony P — 08 May 2013
What more can I say but an appalling waste of an hour.
The film (dare I call it that) focuses on the goings on in an early eighties female borstal.
Scum it ain't though. It makes an episode of Bad Girls series 6 look appealing.
Rare highlights are Pam St Clement (who is best known as Pat Butcher in Eastenders) sporting a perm every bit as garish as Kevin Keegan had. She plays a warden in her element it would appear.
A young and slimline Robbie Coltrane in the factory.
