Review of Savageland (2015) by Paul C — 22 Feb 2015
Fantastic use of the faux-documentary technique to tell a story in a truly fresh, original, and engaging way. The filmmakers take what could have been an ordinary story of its subgenre and turn it on its head by showing the aftermath.
One of the most interesting bits is that even the people being "interviewed" in the film don't seem to realize what "really" went on. Very well done. This is a film best experienced cold, with little foreknowledge.
