Review of Savage Grace (2007) by Becca A — 25 Dec 2015
True to the real story of Tony Baekeland's relationship with his mother and himself. Having studied Bakelike and the inventor's life, I felt this was abrilliant portrayal of the psychological and emotional lives of these integral players.
The story is so sordid that one thinks it is too fake to be real. However, any Bakelite student knows these actions to be true. Dialogue may have been altered as in all biopics; albeit, I enjoyed this film to have the GUTS to be itself.
