"Truth" is regarded as the first Mumbai noir. In contrast to RGV's later works D and Rakht Charitra, this one still has the masala standbys of comedy, romance, and music videos. Quite dated now, it was critically acclaimed, won 13 awards, and inspired numerous movies.
The most well known in America being Slumdog Millionaire.
