Review of Sand Castle (2017) by Mark B — 15 May 2017
Nicholas Hoult's character is weak, as is the script.
The film is skewed to heavily in championing the Americans and could do a better job with a more balanced perspective. The horrors of war just don't hit home here.
The action sequences are laughable in their effects and direction.
If only the heathen Iraqis would understand that they are just trying to fix a well to make all of their lives better again!
Sub-standard war-flick.
