...and the award for most loveable asshole goes to...CLARK GABLE!!! Seriously, where does this guy get his charm from? The movie is not great. The plot wears thin fast but luckily, just when you think you can't stand Jeanette MacDonald's waffling between lovers, DISASTER STRIKES in the form of an earthquake that lasts WAY too long and occasionally looks like a cameraman and two guys throwing things close up created.
But I'm glad I saw it, if only to watch Clark Gable...mmm...
