Review of Saludos Amigos (1942) by Jennifer S — 19 Feb 2008

This movie was an interesting insight into some of the ideas of Walt Disneys team (the animated portions of the movie being connection by footage of Walt and his team of cartoonists travelling around South America) and how they develop these ideas.

Perhaps a little wasted on younger viewers this film still offered a bit of Disney magic. Goofy and Donald Duck feature in this film and the highlight for myself, the final cartoon with Jose Carioca the parrot and Donald Duck was a visual feast of colour.
