Review of Salt (2010) by Bruceo. — 27 Jul 2010
Salt allowed me to suspend my critical mind, an incredible feat since I grew up in Studio City and am a writer myself. Angelina is so damn GOOD that none of it matters, though. Her acting is great between actions scenes that she dives into with aplomb and a vitality that makes your jaw drop knowing she did all the stunts and fights herself.
It doesn't hurt one bit that she's also one of the most perfect genetic productions of human evolution (beautiful!) ever to walk the planet. Angie has a look on her face in fights that's both spooky and genuine, and her moves would make both a black belt and a mother mountain lion proud.
