Review of Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage (2010) by Brad B — 07 Oct 2010
Perhaps you have to be a rush fan, but this movie was outstanding. you get to see the earliest days, hear about the transitions, the joy, the pain. great old clips as well as the latest live stuff. one thing we usually forget is that famous people are still people.
it's refreshing to see very successful musicians being first and foremost musicians, and not being engulfed by the hype. they weren't always successful. I can't help but think a big reason for their longevity is their humanity and keeping it real.
what a great documentary.
