There was no happy ending to this movie, just like there was no happy ending to what really happened at Rosewood, Florida. It was a disaster and it was traumatic. The historic massacre was displayed very graphically and realistically.
I really enjoyed the performances and director John Singleton really outdid himself with this part of African-American history that should never be forgotten.
